The Coffee Mill Makers Project…
Well, I’ve finally finished reading through all the Trade Directories available in my local Archive, and have an immense list of names and companies.
The next step is to mark all these – with locations – on a map of Wolverhampton. Whether I shall use an actual map or Google Maps – or both – I haven’t yet decided. I’ll keep you updated as to how this goes.
The next stage – on Tuesday – will be to start going through the census returns for Wolverhampton, extracting every single reference to coffee mill makers. I feel that this will be a long, slow process..
