From 1 April 2014 Wolverhampton Archives will be open only on the following days
Tuesdays 10am – 4pm
Wednesdays 10am – 7pm
Thursdays 10am – 4pm
In the light of these restricted hours I would advise that it is essential to book ahead if you need a fiche or film reader.
Other archives are having to amend their opening times due to Local Authority cutbacks – I’ll share details as soon as I know.
Please note that Lichfield Record Office will be closing and its holdings transferred to Stafford Records Office: and the William Salt Library is also likely to close.
