Wolverhampton’s War

This week I want to share a website which commemorates the men of Wolverhampton who died in the First World War.

www.wolverhamptonswar.wordpress.com is an ongoing project by Wolverhampton Archives.  It’s well worth exploring – new material is being added almost every day, and if you find a relative, you can add additional details.  One of the most useful aspects of this site is the inclusion of those obituaries which included photographs which were published in the Express & Star.

You might also find these sites useful:

If your relatives come from another area, it’s well worth seeing what information your local archive is making available.
